Two ways to use Meecut
Save a single post · free
Paste the link of a public post or Reel and save it in original quality. No sign-up and no Instagram password.
Track accounts · 30-day free trial
Add public accounts you like. Meecut checks for new posts and Stories, saves them automatically, files them by person and can sync to your Google Drive. A payment method is required to start the trial; nothing is charged during it, and you can cancel any time.
How to use Meecut: from copying a link to saving the original
Everything in one place: how a save works, what can and cannot be saved, how a single save differs from tracking, and what to do when something fails.
Save a post in three steps
Open the post or Reel on Instagram, tap Share and choose Copy link. Paste the link into the box on Meecut and wait a few seconds. The original-quality photo or video appears in the results and can be downloaded with one click. You never log in to Instagram and nothing needs to be installed; it works on phone and desktop alike.
What can and can't be saved
You can save single-image posts, carousels (the first slide without an account, the whole set once you sign in), video posts and Reels from public accounts, plus new posts from any public account you add under Following. Content from private accounts, deleted posts, anything that needs a login to view, and IGTV cannot be saved.
Single save vs. account tracking
A single save is for the occasional photo: paste a link and download it right away, no sign-up needed. Tracking is for creators you follow over time: add a public account and Meecut checks it every 6 hours by default, saves new posts automatically, files them by person and can sync them to your own Google Drive. Tracking needs an account, and new accounts get a 30-day free trial.
If a save fails
First check that the link comes from a public account, that the post has not been deleted and that you copied the post or Reel share link rather than a profile link. If you see a quota message, this month’s captures are used up; wait for the monthly reset or upgrade. Otherwise press Retry, try again a little later, or read the troubleshooting guide.
Copyright and fair use
Saved content remains the property of its original creator. Keep it for personal collection, study and backup, and get the creator’s permission before reposting, remixing or using it commercially. Meecut only handles the public links and public accounts you provide, never logs in to your Instagram and never reads private content.

FAQ
The questions people ask most about saving Instagram photos and tracking accounts.
Do I need to give you my Instagram password?
No. Meecut never logs in to your Instagram. It only reads the public post, Reel link or public profile you give it, so it never touches your password.
Do I need an account to save a single link?
No. Paste the link and save the original photo or video. You only need an account to track accounts automatically, so your settings and library can be stored.
Which links are supported?
Single saves accept public Instagram post (/p/) and Reel (/reel/) links; IGTV isn't supported. To save an account's new posts and Stories, add the account under Following. Private accounts can't be read.
How often are tracked accounts checked?
Every 6 hours by default. New posts are downloaded and saved automatically, no refreshing needed.
How long are photos kept?
It depends on the plan: Standard keeps them for 7 days, Pro for 90 days, and Premium keeps them on the server permanently. You can also connect your own Google Drive for an extra backup.
Does it cost anything?
New accounts can try Standard free for 30 days: add a payment method first, nothing is charged during the trial, and after 30 days the plan you chose is billed automatically. Cancel any time during the trial at no cost. Saving a single link needs no sign-up; a rate limit applies to prevent abuse.
What if a download fails or nothing happens?
Check that the link is a public post that hasn't been deleted. If this month's capture quota is used up, upgrade or wait for the monthly reset. Failed tasks can be retried.
Is there a watermark, and is it the original quality?
No watermark. Meecut saves the original-quality image and video files from Instagram.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Open Meecut in your phone browser, copy the link in the Instagram app, paste it and save. The files can be stored right on your phone, and no app needs to be installed.
Can I repost or use saved content commercially?
Meecut only helps you save; the copyright stays with the original creator. Personal collection and study are fine. Please get the creator’s permission before reposting, remixing or using it commercially.
